The preseason debuts of Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow for 2012 weren't exactly awe-inspiring performances.

The Jets put up no points during Sanchez's time on the field, as the starter completed 4 of 6 for a scant 21 yards.

Tebow wasn't much better in his first action as a Jet, hitting 4 of 8 for 27 yards. He led the Jets to a field goal in the 17-6 loss to Cincinnati, but also threw an interception. Tebow's biggest contribution to the New York offense was that he ran four times for 34 yards to lead the team.

Greg McElroy, the Jets' third-string quarterback, hit on 4 of 6 passes, but his throws were good for 49 yards on the night.
