Hurricane Sandy and the devastation on the East Coast has caused real problems for millions of people.
It’s also delayed surgery to repair an abdominal tear for Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings, who was originally scheduled to fly to Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Jennings made the decision last week to have surgery with a specialist and the hope was he would return in three weeks. He has not played since Sept. 30. The plan is for Dr. William Meyers to perform what is a brief out-patient surgery but now logistical issues are in place.
“Exactly when he will go?” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. “That has not been determined yet?”
