As the NFL approaches the final stages toward a labor agreement, players will be returning to work soon.
Reports are the Green Bay Packers are holding a meeting Saturday at Lambeau Field, presumably after the lockout is ended on Friday. So, that gives other players chance for a final hurrah this weekend before the grind.
Santana Moss has a hurrah planned in Miami. Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post has turned up a flier (take a look at it here) for a party Moss is hosting at King of Diamonds, the Miami Gardens, Fla., strip club that made the news when Minnesota Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie spent the 2010 Pro Bowl week watching pole dancers instead of attending practices and meetings.
The shin dig has been dubbed the “NFL Summer Groove Players Party.” The celebration is scheduled for Sunday. Moss has also taken to his personal Twitter account to publicize the bash.
