Rams center Scott Wells will miss the remainder of the regular season with a broken ankle, according to a report from ESPN.com.
Wells fractured his left fibula in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
His scheduled recovery time is slated for four to six weeks. This means that barring an unforseen turn of events that results in St. Louis reaching the playoffs, Wells will not play another down during the 2013 season.
