Jets linebacker wanted defense to tell reporters 'Both teams played hard.' Terry McCormick
Even when the New York Jets do something right - like win a football game - there is still a sense of uproar within the ranks.
After a controversy-filled week in which a defensive starter was quoted anonymously as saying backup QB Tim Tebow was "terrible," linebacker Bart Scott urged the defense to tell reporters only that "Both teams played hard," after Gang Green's 27-13 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Scott's boycott didn't last long, however, as safety Yeremiah Bell and linebacker Bryan Thomas both told Scott to stop it, according to the New York Daily News. And eventually, Scott himself relented and spoke to the media.
Just another day in paradise with the New York Jets.
