Seahawks GM says Richard Sherman 'feels he's the best'

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman went at it full throttle with New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis on Wednesday over who the supreme cover man at the position is.

Sherman has been talking and talking and, well, you get it. That is what he does.

“I never seen a man before run his mouth so much like girl," Revis wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday. "This dude just steady putting my name in his mouth to get notoriety @rsherman_25."

How did Sherman reply? Just like you might expect.

"Sometimes the truth needs to be told," Sherman wrote. "Tired of the noise lol. Btw I am near the least targeted corner in the League. So keep the excuses."

Then, Sherman appeared on NFL Network’s “NFL AM” this morning and talked about it even more, calling Revis “disrespectful.”

Seahawks general manager John Schneider caught wind of it all from the NFL Scouting Combine.

“Yeah, Richard was just on TV,” Schneider said earlier today. “We know Richard, and to us, it's not a really big deal. It's what makes him who he is. It's one of the things that made us fall in love with him, and it gives him the confidence to play the way he plays. He feels that he's the best cornerback in the league, and God bless him.”

There you go.
