The Seattle Seahawks claimed cornerback and kick returner Cord Parks off waivers from the St. Louis Rams.
Parks was with the Rams' practice squad last season before being promoted to the active roster.
Parks has 4.35 speed in the 40-yard dash and is regarded as a dangerous kick returner.
The 5-foot-10, 178-pounder averaged 22.7 yards on six kickoff returns and 12.5 yards on a pair of punt returns during the preseason last summer with the Rams.
He has played safety and cornerback.
At Northeastern, Parks played both ways at wide receiver and cornerback.

I think Cord will most defintely prove himself when given the chance. This has what it takes.
I read with great interest.
He will be a nice addition to the seahawks secondary as well as special teams.
