The Seattle Seahawks plan to release veteran cornerback Antoine Winfield today, according to CBS.
If the Seahawks can, they would be amenable to trading him.
Winfield, a three-time Pro Bowl selection with the Minnesota Vikings, could draw interest from the Vikings or the Washington Redskins, both of whom displayed interest in him during free agency.
Winfield, 36, was due a $3 million base salary this season.
