The Seattle Seahawks ruled out wide receiver Percy Harvin for Sunday's NFC championsihp game due to a concussion.
Harvin got injured against the New Orleans Saints when he landed on his head, leaving the game.
Meanwhile, linebacker K.J. Wright is set to return from a broken foot.
Harvin didn't practice all week. This follows a hip surgery during the preseason that limited him to one regular-season game after signing a six-year, $67 million contract following a trade from the Minnesota Vikings.
Harvin may return to practice next week if the Seahawks advance to the Super Bowl.
“He will not make it through the doctors’ protocol and will not be able to go,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. “It’s super disappointing for Percy, he wants to play. You can see it, he played his tail off when he had his chance, it’s just unfortunate circumstances.”
