Second suspect had gun on day of Lloyd's murder

Carlos Ortiz, the 27-year-old second suspect in the the Odin Lloyd murder case, admitted to police that he had a gun on or around June 17, the day Lloyd was found murdered in a North Attleboro, Mass., industrial park, per Fox 25 in Boston.

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in Lloyd's death. Ortiz lived at the Bristol, Conn., home of Hernandez's uncle, a house police searched on Thursday as the investigation of the homicide continues.

Ortiz, who has a criminal record and is on probation, is being held on $1.5 million bond, but police have yet to announce what he has been charged with in the matter.
