Shonn Greene has knee scoped

Tennessee Titans running back Shonn Greene has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, per

Greene's right knee buckled under him when he was tackled on a carry in the season opener at Pittsburgh. He was inactive for the Titans' loss Sunday in Houston.

While Greene is out, Jackie Battle will step into the No. 2 running back role behind Chris Johnson.

Tennessee signed Greene to a three-year, $10 million contract in the off-season.
