Bengals free agent WR was convicted on drug charge from 2011. Terry McCormick
Cincinnati Bengals free agent receiver Jerome Simpson was suspended for three games, stemming from his drug conviction on charges from last year, according to Adam Schefter.
Simpson entered a guilty plea in March from an arrest last September when marijuana was delivered to his northern Kentucky home. He then served 15 days in jail.
That hasn't stopped Simpson from drawing interest in the free agent market as the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings have had him in for visits. The Bengals remain interested in him as well.
