Slauson fined $10,000 for block on Cushing
Jets guard's hit viewed as an illegal peel back block. Terry McCormick
The NFL has fined New York Jets guard Matt Slauson $10,000 for his block on Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing, according to the New York Daily News.
Slauson was fined for what was deemed as an "illegal peel back block" on the hit that caused Cushing to tear his ACL and be lost for the remainder of the season.
