Veteran worked with Trent Baalke previously Brad Biggs
With David McCloughan out as the director of college scouting for the San Francisco 49ers, a league source told the National Football Post that veteran scout Joel Patten will be hired to replace him.
Patten, who spent last season with the St. Louis Rams, worked with Trent Baalke, who appears to be the leading candidate to become the next general manager of the 49ers, previously with the Washington Redskins. Patten had two stints scouting for the Redskins and also worked for the Houston Texans.
Patten is well regarded in the scouting community. An offensive tackle during his playing days, Patten made stops with the Browns, Colts, Chargers and Raiders. A Duke product, Patten also played in the USFL for the Washington Federals and the Orlando Renegades.

This is really interesting, You are a very skilled blogger. I have joined your feed and look forward to seeking more of your fantastic post. Also, I have shared your web site in my social networks!
I find it incredible that more blogs and forums are not as pleasant as this one. Often times when I land on a website page the articles and other content is so deficient that I move on without delay. That is not the case here. Thanks so much.
Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts.
Thanks for your post! This post is so informative and interesting for me and i'll share with my friends.
Some players and 25 NFL Stars could call a list quits after 2011.The list mentions some NFL players who will quit soon, but it misses some players like Ed Reed. I fully expect him to play for a few more years.
Its postive some players on this list have given much to their fans over the past few years, but their departure will leave a hole in their respective teams and regrets to all the fans.
So, as a fan, its a good idea to buy some cheap China nfl jerseys on the store and wear while playing football games to show our support for our stars. I suggest everyone go to this store www.hojersey.com. Low price, fast shipping and top quality!
