The San Francisco 49ers worked out former Stanford and Cleveland Browns fullback Owen Marecic on Saturday, according to a league source.

Of course, Marecic played and played well for 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh at Stanford.

The 24-year-old is a former Browns fourth-round draft pick

The 6-foot, 248-pounder was cut by the Browns last week.

The 2010 Paul Hornung Award winner, an award given for versatility, has rushed for eight yards in the NFL, catching five passes for 31 yards.
