Source: Bacarri Rambo visits Bears, tries out for Patriots

Former Washington Redskins safety Bacarri Rambo has worked out for the New England Patriots and visited the Chicago Bears this week, according to a league source.

He wasn't immediately signed to a contract.

Rambo was cut by the Redskins upon the return of safety Brandon Meriweather.

Meriweather was suspended for the first two games of the NFL season.

Rambo played collegiately at Georgia.
