Source: Bears cut offensive lineman Rob Turner

The Chicago Bears have released veteran center-guard Rob Turner, according to a league source.

The veteran lineman started six games last season for the Tennessee Titans before going on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

In 2012, he started every game for the St. Louis Rams.

Turner was added to the Bears' roster after center Brian de la Puente sprained his medial collateral ligament.

Turner has a previous stint with the New York Jets.
