Source: Browns tried out Aaron Berry

The Cleveland Browns tried out veteran defensive back Aaron Berry, according to a league source.

Berry tore his anterior cruciaqte ligament last year during the New York Jets' training camp and spent last season on injured reserve.

He played in seven games in 2012 and had two tackles before going on injured reserve.

Berry previously played for the Detroit Lions.

He went undrafted out of Pitt.

For his career, Berry has recorded 36 tackles and one interception.
