The Cleveland Browns tried out three punters, according to a league source.

The Browns auditioned Zoltan Mesko, T.J. Conley and Robert Malone.

None were immediately signed.

Browns punter Spencer Lanning has been participating fully in practice this week, listed with a left knee injury. He has a 44.9 average and a 38.0 net, ranking 26th among NFL punters.

A former New England Patriots punter, Mesko was last with the Pittsburgh Steelers this season before being released and replaced by Mat McBriar. He went to high school in Cleveland.

Malone has previous stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions, San Diego Chargers and New York Jets.

Conley has previous stints with the Browns, Minnesota Vikings and Jets.
