The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had in former Atlanta Falcons defensive back Chris Owens in for a visit, according to a league source.
He also visited the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.
Owens, 27, played one game last season for the Miami Dolphins. He was with the Cleveland Browns for the first dozen games and two starts, recording 58 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
He played the first four seasons of his career with the Falcons after laying collegiately at San Jose State.
For his career, he has 184 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles.
