Cornerback-safety has heard from seven NFL teams recently Aaron Wilson
University of Cincinnati cornerback and safety Brad Jones has been contacted recently by seven NFL teams expressing interest in him, according to a source close to the program.
Jones attended the Cincinnati Bengals' local prospects day on April 13.
Regarded as a later-round draft target, Jones has heard from the Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and the San Francisco 49ers.
Jones is a 6-foot, 192-pounder who has registered a 39-inch vertical leap. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds.
He also posted a 10-05 broad jump and a 4.22 in the 20-yard shuttle and a 6.78 three-cone drill at his campus Pro Day workout.
Jones, who intercepted a pass last season against Oklahoma, wasn't invited to the NFL scouting combine.
However, he has opened some eyes with his impressive workouts.
