The Indianapolis Colts worked out former Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith, according to a league source.
The Colts could use a running back after losing Ahmad Bradshaw for the season to a neck injury that will require surgery.
Smith has rushed for 2,346 career yards and 17 touchdowns.
The Colts also auditioned former Seattle Seahawks nose tackle Sealver Siliga, former New York Jets defensive end Scott Solomon and former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Andy Studebaker.
