University of Washington defensive end to visit Raiders Aaron Wilson
University of Washington defensive end Daniel Te’o-Nesheim has visited the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a source close to the program with knowledge of the situation.
Te'o-Nesheim visits the Oakland Raiders today and Saturday
The 6-foot-3, 263-pounder is regarded as a rising draft prospect projected as a third round or fourth round target by draft analysts.
Some NFL teams are evaluating him as a rush linebacker and others as a traditional defensive end.
At the NFL scouting combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.73 seconds. He also registered a 37-inch vertical leap and a 29-inch vertical leap.
He also recorded an impressive 4.18 20-yard shuttle.
At his campus Pro Day workout, he improved his 40-yard dash to 4.63 seconds.
Te'o-Nesheim has recorded 194 career tackles, 37 for losses and 30 sacks.
Last season, he posted 37 tackles, 14 for losses and 11 sacks.
He was selected for the East-West Shrine game.
