Oklahoma cornerback drawing second-round grades Aaron Wilson
Oklahoma cornerback Dominique Franks is regarded as a solid second-round draft pick on several NFL teams' draft boards, according to league sources.
Franks has previously conducted a private workout for the New England Patriots, per a source close to the program with knowledge of the situation.
We're told that the Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in Franks.
The 5-foot-11, 194-pound All-Big 12 selection. draws high marks for his instincts and athleticism.
He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds at the NFL scouting combine, registering a 33 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 9-9 broad jump.
Last season, he recorded 47 tackles and two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.
He doubles as an athletic kickoff returner, too.]
He averaged 17 yards per punt return and 19.3 yards per kickoff return.
For his career, Franks recorded 60 tackles with six interceptions. He scored three touchdowns, two on interception returns and another on a fumble return.
