University of Texas standout Earl Thomas is garnering looks from NFL teams at cornerback as well as safety, according to league sources.
And Thomas is scheduled for a private workout next week for the New England Patriots in Austin, Texas, per a source.
At 5-foot-10, 208 pounds, Thomas has outstanding instincts, range and is a physical tackler.
Thomas has also been scheduled for several other visits next month, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins.
Look for Thomas to go in the first round, perhaps higher than originally anticipated.
