Veteran free agent fullback Kyle Eckel auditioned for the Houston Texans today, according to a league source.
Eckel has previous stints with the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Eckel went undrafted in 2005 out of the Naval Academy, joining the Patriots as a rookie free agent.
He was cut by the Eagles during their final major roster cutdown this year after being signed by the AFC East squad last October.
