The Atlanta Falcons are looking into the merits of possibly drafting a defensive tackle.
According to a league source, the Falcons hosted four defensive tackles for a visit earlier this week.
They met with Brian Price (UCLA), Corey Peters (Kentucky), Arthur Jones (Syracuse) and Travis Ivey (University of Maryland).
Price also visited the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers. Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Peters visited the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and the Indianapolis Colts and conducted private workouts for the Cleveland Browns and the Patriots.
Jones had a private workouts with the Buffalo Bills and visited the Patriots.
Ivey is a 6-foot-4, 341-pounder who has bench pressed 225 pounds 29 times.
He recorded 25 tackles, two for losses and one sack last season.
He's been graded anywhere from the later rounds to a priority free agent.
