University of Florida defensive tackle Dominique Easley is about to start a busy predraft schedule.

Easley visits the New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys among his upcoming trips, according to a league source.

Easley worked out for 17 NFL teams on Thursday and is roughly 80 percent recovered from  a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his right knee in September.

The drills were run by Chicago Bears defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni. The Bears sent three people to the Pro Day. The St. Louis Rams are another team very interested in Easley.

Easley tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in 2011.

Easley had 67 career tackles, 16 tackles for losses and 5.5 sacks.

Easley is regarded as a second-round draft target, but was projected as a first-round draft pick before he injured his knee.

He'll do a medical recheck for the NFL as well.
