The New York Giants tried out nine players, according to a league source.
That included veteran tight end Daniel Fells, who has previous stints with the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams and Atlanta Falcons. Fells has caught 92 career passes for 1,086 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Giants also worked out linebacker Spencer Adkins, punter Dylan Breeding, punter Jordan Gay, linebacker Alex Hall, offensive guard Ryan Lee, defensive back Dwight Lowery, linebacker Cameron Sheffield and center Edwin Williams.
