Top-ranked offensive guard has nine visits scheduled Aaron Wilson
Top-ranked offensive guard Mike Iupati worked out for the New York Jets this week, according to a source close to the program.
The 6-foot-5, 331-pounder from Idaho has also worked out for the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Iupati's strength,, long arms and athleticism were a major hit at the Senior Bowl and NFL scouting combine and he's expected to be drafted within the first 20 picks of the first round.
Some NFL teams are evaluating Iupati as a potential offensive tackle prospect, but his best position is offensive guard.
Iupati has been scheduled for at least nine official visits so far.
At the combine, Iupati ran the 40-yard dash in 5.24 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 27 times.
