Penn State defensive lineman Jared Odrick is scheduled to visit the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns, according to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation.

Odrick has conducted private workouts for the Denver Broncos, Browns and Atlanta Falcons.

The 6-foot-5, 304-pound Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Defensive Lineman of the Year ran the 40-yard dash in 4.95 seconds and a 4.44 short shuttle at his Pro Day workout.

At the NFL scouting combine, Odrick clocked a 5.03 in the 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times with a 29-inch vertical leap.

Odrick has drawn high marks from NFL scouts for his toughness and capability of playing defensive end or defensive tackle depending on the scheme.

"I think I bring a lot of versatility at multiple positions that I’ve played before and am capable of playing in the future," Odrick said during a combine interview. "I like to think I’m a high-character guy. I get along with everybody on the team. Somebody who’s going to work hard.

"You’re gonna get a hard worker out of me. Somebody who is going to fight for a starting spot and earn respect. That’s what you’re going to get when you’re dealing with Jared Odrick."
