Still awaiting medical clearance from NFL doctors after undergoing single-fusion cervical spine surgery that has threatened his career, a league source confirmed that former Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley visited the New England Patriots on Friday.
Finley has also visited the Seattle Seahawks.
And the Packers haven't ruled out possibly bringing Finley back if he's able to play.
“In my mind he is a Green Bay Packer – hopefully,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said recently. “[Finley] is going through a tough medical situation. I think we all recognize that it was a serious injury. My understanding is he is doing everything and beyond to get himself ready. We’ll continue to watch that.”
