The New York Jets have claimed tight end Zach Sudfeld off waivers from the New England Patriots, according to a league source.
Sudfeld was cut this week by New England.
Sudfeld is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Nevada who had a strong preseason.
He didn't play extensively in the regular season, though.
The 6-foot-7, 260-pounder has no receptions this season, but displayed strong hands and route-running ability during the preseason.
