The New York Jets tried out quarterback B.J. Coleman and five wide receivers, according to a league source.
Coleman is a former Green Bay Packers seventh-round draft pick who was released in September. He played collegiately at Tennessee-Chattanooga after transferring from Tennessee.
The Jets also tried out wide receivers Terrence Austin (Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, UCLA), Garner, Phil Garner (Kent State), Tyrone Goard (Cincinnati Bengals, Eastern Kentucky), V'Keon Lacey (Angelo State) and Roy Roundtree (Bengals, Michigan).
