University of Kentucky fullback John Conner is visiting the Detroit Lions today, according to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation.
Conner, who rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns last season, is the top-ranked fullback on most draft boards because of his size, speed and blocking skills.
Conner is set to visit the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.
The 5-foot-11, 241-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds at the NFL scouting combine, also bench pressing 225 pounds 24 times and posting a 35-inch vertical leap.
He has been projected anywhere from the middle rounds to the latter portion of the draft.
