Former Steelers lineman looking for a new team Aaron Wilson
Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive guard Kendall Simmons worked out for the New England Patriots today, according to a league source.
The veteran free agent was drafted in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft out of Auburn.
The Mississippi native was cut by the Steelers in February, two years after signing a four-year contract extension.
Simmons incurred a season-ending Achilles' tendon injury last season against the Baltimore Ravens during a Sept. 29 Monday night game and was placed on injured reserve.
