University of Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount has been scheduled for visits with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a source close to the program.

Blount ran between 4.53 and 4.55 seconds in the 40-yard dash at his campus Pro Day workout,

He weighed in at 238 pounds and was measured at 6-foot-1.

Blount is an extremely physical downhill runner.

He rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown during the Senior Bowl game.

As a junior in 2008, Blount rushed for 1,002 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Blount was suspended for 10 games last season for punching a Boise State player. That incident was preceded by a previous suspension for missing team meetings during the offseason.

He was subsequently reinstated by Oregon coach Chip Kelly after the infamous punch and rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown during a win over rival Oregon State that propelled the Ducks to a Rose Bowl berth.

Blount apologized for the incident and hasn't been in any further trouble.

Sounds a little low, I would have thought third to fourth. He has the running style that a lot of coaches like, downhill. He looks like the kind of back the Steelers would love.

he looks good, he's fast for his size. He hits his holes , but it looks like he had a heck of an OLine in front of him , he's running untouched and free in most of his highlights, I say if he slips anywear past round four lets give him a shot, but I don't think he will make me miss Mike Alstott any less!!

I would not draft Blount if he was the only RB in the draft. The guy is a punk. If he can not back up his trash talking at the college level, he will have even more trouble at this level.

I like Blount's internal fire...I think he has been the brunt of a lot of criticism due to the fact that some tool jumped in his face after an emotional loss. I think I'd have reacted the same way given the circumstances. I guess I'm a "punk". Regardless, he has the size and style that we as Steelers fans covet...draft this man Burgh!!!

He running style fits downhill running even though he really is quicker than many people think, I already said if he doesnt end up in Seattle I'd like to see him in Pitt, probably my second fav team and dixon is there.
