According to a source close to Notre Dame, Fighting Irish offensive standouts Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate will announce today that they intend to enter the 2010 NFL Draft.
Clausen, a junior quarterback, passed for 3,722 yards with 28 TDs and just 4 INTs this season.

I have my doubts about Clausen in the NFL (good but not great arm, seems to read defenses but has no escapability, will have to be on a team with a great o line and running game). Tate, on the other hand, is the man among boys in college and made Clausen look better than he is. Seems to be out of the Andre Rison, Sterling Sharpe mold: very strong, great hands, will almost always win one on one battles, great yac, etc.. Will make any team that drafts him better. I have no idea of his maturity level but most ND players that I can think of seem pretty grounded and decent team players.
