Maryland cornerback coming off broken leg Aaron Wilson
University of Maryland cornerback Nolan Carroll will conduct private workouts with the New England Patriots and the Cleveland Browns, according to a league source.
Carroll is set to work out for the Patriots on March 15 and the Browns on March 18.
He has also drawn interest from the Miami Dolphins.
Carroll is a speedy 5-11, 204-pounder who bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times at the Terrapins’ campus Pro Day workout, also registering a 37 ½ inch vertical leap and a 4.39 time in the 40-yard dash.
Carroll missed the majority of last season with a broken leg after starting the first two games of the season.
At the NFL scouting combine, Carroll said he has recovered well from the injury.
He’s projected as a middle to later-round draft pick, but his size-speed combination could boost his stock.
