Source: Oklahoma corner Aaron Colvin to visit 49ers next week

A year ago, the San Francisco 49ers drafted Florida State pass rusher Tank Carradine and South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore as both players were still rehabbing from torn anterior cruciate ligaments.

They could be positioning themselves to do so again with a highly regarded draft prospect who injured his knee during the draft process.

Oklahoma cornerback Aaron Colvin was regarded as a potential first-round draft pick before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during a practice session at the Senior Bowl.

Colvin is set to visit the 49ers next week, according to a league source.

Colvin has previously visited the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles.
