The Green Bay Packers are trying out former Cleveland Browns linebacker Justin Staples and former University of Maryland linebacker Demetrius Hartsfield today, according to league sources.
The Packers are dealing with injuries at linebacker, including Brad Jones (hamstring), Clay Matthews (broken thumb) and Nick Perry (broken foot).
Hartsfield is a former All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection for the Terrapins.
Hartsfield has fully recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament suffered last November.
Staples is a 6-foot-4, 245-pounder from Illinois.
