The Carolina Panthers tried out 15 players, including quarterback Austin Davis, tight end Jake O'Connell and  fullback-tight end Dorin Dickerson, according to a league source.

The Panthers also tried out defensive backs Al Afalava, Tom Nelson, Sean Cattouse and Chaz Powell, tight ends LaMark Brown, Cameron Graham, offensive linemen Oscar Johnson, James Nelson and J.B. Shugarts, wide receiver Cordell Roberson and linebackers Lee Robinson and Pat Schiller.

None were immediately signed.
