Defensive linemen auditioned Aaron Wilson

The New England Patriots tried out veteran defensive linemen Frank Kearse and George Johnson.

Kearse is a former Carolina Panthers defensive lineman who played collegiately at Alabama A&M.

He has started eight games.

Johnson played collegiately at Rutgers.

In the NFL, he has played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings. He was cut by Minnesota last week.

The Patriots signed Marcus Forston on Saturday and cut Andre Neblett.
