New England worked out the Northwestern CB this morning. Joe Fortenbaugh
It’s a busy Tuesday for the New England Patriots coaching staff.
In addition to the workouts the Pats are holding in Cincinnati today for wide receiver Mardy Gilyard and quarterback Tony Pike, the team also worked out Northwestern cornerback Sherrick McManis Tuesday morning, according to a league source.
The workout was held at Northwestern University.
The 5’11”, 195-pound senior recorded 37 tackles (27 solo) and five interceptions for the 8-5 Wildcats in 2009.
McManis was unable to work out at the combine in Indianapolis last month due to a hamstring injury he suffered during practice for the East-West Shrine game. However, the cornerback will work out for NFL personnel at Northwestern’s pro day on March 29.

Ah, my bad, thanks for the info GLinton. You are absolutely correct, LSU's pro day was Monday, which for the most part, was run by the Saints' staff. I'm a bit surprised that schools such as UL-Monron, ULL, etc. which have relatively few prospects were simply not included in the LSU work.
