Veteran outside linebacker Quentin Groves visited the New England Patriots on Wednesday and meets with the Washington Redskins on Thursday, according to a league sourfce.

Should Groves not sign with one of those teams, other NFL teams are interested in the former Auburn standout.

The Cleveland Browns recently released Groves.

Groves had ankle surgery last season and finished the year on injured reserve.

Groves had five tackles, a forced fumble and two sacks last season.

For his career, Groves has recorded 8.5 sacks, 157 tackles and five forced fumbles.

He has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders.
