Former San Diego Chargers running back D.J. Adams is visiting the Dallas Cowboys today, according to a source.
The Cowboys are in need of depth after Ben Malena injured his quadriceps.
Adams was signed by the Chargers last year after going undrafted out of Portland State.
He rushed for 1,600 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior and was an All-Big Sky Conference selection.
Adams transferred from Maryland.
