Source: Redskins worked out Austin Collie

The Washington Redskins worked out veteran wide receiver Austin Collie, according to a league source.

Collie caught four passes for 57 yards for the New England Patriots last season in the AFC championship game against the Denver Broncos.

Collie, 28, is entering his sixth NFL season after spending four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

Collie hasd six catches for 63 yards in seven games with one start for New England last season.

The 6-foot, 204-pounder originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round draft pick of the Colts and has 179 career receptions for 1,908 yards and 16 touchdowns.
