Harewood has previously visited Vikings, Ravens, Raiders and Jaguars Aaron Wilson
One of the biggest sleepers in the NFL draft is no longer a secret in NFL circles.
Fast-rising Morehouse offensive tackle Ramon Harewood (6-foot-6, 341 pounds) is a massive physics and engineering major.
The Barbados native has visited the Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, Oakland Raiders and the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to an NFL source.
Per our source, he’s visiting the Dallas Cowboys today.
Harewood has also conducted private workouts for the New Orleans Saints and the Ravens.
Once thought of as a priority free agent, Harewood is now regarded as a draft pick, probably late, with some teams projecting him as high as the middle rounds.
Despite his size, Harewood has run the 40-yard dash in the 5.0 to 5.1 range. He has bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times and has posted a 9-3 broad jump.
Harewood grew up playing rugby, cricket, volleyball and soccer.
Highly regarded for his intelligence and character, Harewood attended Morehouse on an academic scholarship and declined the offer of an athletic scholarship because he didn’t want to cost a teammate their scholarship.
He weighed 363 pounds during the season ,but is believed to be down to 335 pounds now.
Harewood has huge hands and 35-inch arms.
He has been working out in Dallas with former Cowboys offensive lineman George Hegamin.
He played in the Texas vs. the Nation all-star game, lining up at tackle and guard.
Harewood was a three-time all-conference selection despite his limited football background.
NFL scouts are wowed with his upside.
