Veteran all-purpose running back Leon Washington is making the rounds in New York.
After working out for the New York Giants at the start of this week, the former New York Jets running back and kick returner visited the Jets on Wednesday, according to a league source.
Washington was recently cut by the New England Patriots.
He was selected to the Pro Bowl last season when he had one touchdown return and a 29-yard average.
Washington played for the Seattle Seahawks after a trade from the Jets that followed a gruesome broken leg.
No deal was immediately struck for Washington, but things could develop for him quickly, especially depending on how things for teams during the first week of the season.
