Veteran linebacker D.D. Lewis has re-signed with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a league source.
Per our source, it's a one-year contract.
Lewis was originally signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted rookie in 2002.
He was cut during the Seahawks' final major roster cutdown, but the vested veteran is now back on the roster.
Lewis is expected to operate as a backup to rookie first-round pick Aaron Curry.
Lewis, 30, has recorded 208 career tackles and one sack.
Last season, he started twice and appeared in 14 games as he registered 45 tackles.
The former University of Texas player had a one-year stint wth the Denver Broncos in 2007.
